This is Rex, one of the foster kittens we recently took in from the local shelter. He was the runt of the litter and it took forever to get his weight up to the point where he could be neutered. I gave Rex lots of extra love and attention and treats. He finally got big enough to be neutered and went to a loving home with children who adore him.
Young cats/kittens always look ill proportioned when their ears grow before the rest of the body catches up. lol Darling picture. Rex was the name of my fest childhood friends Father's name. I've not heard the name since.

What a beautiful kitty. I love to hear happy animal stories. That's great that you nursed him back to health and that he got to go to a loving home. I'm a huge animal lover and love hearing stories like yours. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by my place and for the kind word. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! He is handsome and good for you for taking him in - He looks like he appreciates it :)
ReplyDeleteOh, he's adorable!! And what a great thing for you to do!! My Ruth, Henry, and Hobbes were all foster kittens and they are just the nicest pets because of the love and care that they receive in the foster homes. They came to us loving, friendly, not afraid or shy--it is a fabulous program! Thank you for helping the kittens!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutey! I'll bet he's trouble too! LOL Love the kitties :) I should, I've got a bunch of them myself!
ReplyDeleteI love the coloring on him!
cute kitty. although I do like to butt kitties. bwahahahaha
ReplyDeleteHe's adorable and what great markings, it looks like he's got swirls on his back.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern in Rex's coat is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwh...cute story! I could never foster kittens...I would get too attached. I know that overall it is for a greater good purpose. But, how do you let them go?
ReplyDeleteHe is really cute! What a pretty color and what great markings! I have seen Manx with that type of marking on them before - wonder if he has a bit of that in him?! I just adopted two dogs from the Humane Society =) What fun! They are both 7 and too cute.
