Foster Kittens - Update

Lily - Doing her best "Diva" pose

The foster kittens are growing now by leaps and bounds. Lily (above) is almost a pound and a half. Axel (below) is two pounds one ounce (as of yesterday). They are gaining almost an ounce a day now. I started feeding them a grain free all life stages cat food moistened with warm water and that is when their weight started to increase.

Out of 30 photos that I took this morning only two were good enough to tweak and post. Julian never did slow down enough for me to get a photo of him! My camera shutter speed is sooooo sloooooow that most of the photos had a blur in them or nothing at all because the kitten had bounced out of the frame before the photo completed.

  1. Yes...cats and kittens are a very hard thing to photograph when they're on the move. I'm glad you got some though, because I never tire of cute kitten photos! Lilly is amazing!

  4. Sheesh, they are some cute kittens. I guess that is a good sign that they are too quick to snap a photo! Sounds like they are growing up nicely.

  14. Both of those cats are just adorable. I'm kinda partial to black cats myself, but I could love on both of those with no problem. Love the pictures.

  17. Aw! They are adorable. I am always frustrated with the shutter speed on my digital camera. I am too lazy to figure it out though. LOL
