Yep, those are all the big boys! And, they WERE looking at one of the girls...can you tell what they were thinking?!
This photo was taken awhile ago - but yes, the snow is all melted, for now. We're supposed to get it again starting later today and then again this weekend. Sigh, I'm so ready for summer! The big joke here is that we have two seasons: Winter and Construction. ;o)
Heh, heh. Now here Michael the buck would be over the fence. That is our problem. Luke the buck hasn't figured out the jumping over the fence thing yet. We figure Michael will teach him that this year. Michael can clear an eith foot fence. Rutting season is soooo much fun.
Fortunately we have never had a male jump the fence to breed one of the females. We've had a female jump the fence to get with one of the males (slut) but she didn't get pregnant.
The one on the right end is Blue Denim Wrangler, standing next to his sire Mesquite (notice any similarity in their faces?) Blue is sold but we are boarding him for the new owners until they get their pastures fenced. The one on the far left end is Tempis Fugit our multiple Grand Champion, ALSA ROM and ALSA Halter Champion.
They are too cute though all lined up like that. I'll just pretend they are scooching together for their photo opt rather than the truth. I second loving the one with the shave:)
The one that has the shear job down his legs a bit is an absolute sweetheart. It was really hard to part with him but knowing he is going to a fabulous loving home where he'll be well cared for made it easier.

I like the one on the end with the poodle cut.
