Happy Father's Day! Guess what we did today...

Today we went hot air ballooning with friends in South Park, Colorado. We crewed for a friend and had a fabulous morning - beautiful weather, yummy breakfast and wonderful companionship.

They look like beautiful flowers or maybe butterflies with the bright colors--beautiful blue sky--sound's like a truly special morning!

The balloons look gorgeous and I bet the view was spectacular. Not something I could do though.

Yes, it was fun. I didn't go up - I have a thing about heights. I have been up once several years ago, and that was enough. It was pleasant but not something I want to repeat. Hubby is a pilot so he thoroughly enjoys it! Daughter follows in her Daddy's footsteps (not a pilot...yet) And yes, it WAS in South Park! There really is a South Park in Colorado. ;o)

Something I have always wanted to do, that would be so cool. I'll have to put it back on my list of things to do before I cease to be.
