What a gorgeous iris that is. i don't think I've ever seen one that color before. I have the typical purple ones and white ones here. Would love to find one the color of yours.

Ann - I fell in love with this color and had to add it to my garden. I don't even remember what the other colors are that I've planted but none of the others have bloomed...yet.

I stop by with EC a lot but Im not sure if I commented before - I had to say that is just beautiful! I don't think Ive ever seen that color before.

My dad used to grow them and I love them but that color is so unusual and spectacular! Beautiful!

So glad you like it Tracy! I created a colorway called "bronzed burgundy" that very closely resembles this Iris - just LOVE it myself!

That certainly is a different color of Iris. It is the same color of my favorite, the Tiger Lily.
Have a great day.

Marg: You're right! It does look like a Tiger Lily, doesn't it?! Or a day lily - I have a Day Lily in my garden that I believe is this color but the deer keep mowing the Day Lily down before it gets a chance to bloom.

Beautiful Lillies, I love them. My red and yellow ones are blooming nicely at the moment, wish though I had a bigger variety of colors.

"Split Rock Ranch" has been included in a special edition Thinking of Christmas Gifts in July Sites To See. I hope this helps to attract many new customers to your site.

P.S.: I am sorry for the late notice. Something funky was going on with a Google server or two, and I could not leave any comments anywhere for around 8 hours earlier today.
