I just took advantage to get some new toys. I may be asking you questions once I start trying out the drop spindle, so be forwarned. I'm excited to play with them now that my craft show season is done I can try some new things.

Thank you Paige! I still haven't gotten the drop spindle down to my satisfaction. I have two spinning wheels and several spindles. The spindles are great though if you want a portable project. I will find some great YouTube links for you to have a look at. The spindle comes with basic spinning instructions AND I added a bonus of one ounce of soft merino roving so you can get started right away on trying your new spindle out.

Thank you so much! I'll have to check out the you tube videos. Seeing it in action is how I best learn too. I've seen some gorgeous yarn made with drop spindles so we'll see if I can get the hang of it. I really want a wheel but I decided I should start out with the spindle and see how it works. Thanks!

I started with the spindle but got so frustrated I gave up. Patience is NOT one of my virtues. So hubby bought me a gently used wheel and once I got the hang of it I took off. I've collected a few spindles I really like and am trying to get back to attempting spindle spinning. Some people prefer the spindle to the wheel - more power to them! I bought a gently used Van Eaton custom wheel a couple of years ago and LOVE it! I bought it as an investment but once I started spinning on it, it became my favorite wheel and I use it all the time, going to the other wheel for large projects since I installed the jumbo flyer on it.

Man - Your latest rounds of fibers are GORGEOUS! I'm going to have to adopt a rich, old relative...because Lotto isn't paying off and I NEED to get my hands on some of your most awesome stuff. I'm drooling just looking at everything - great job! xx
